M is for . . . #AtoZChallenge2017

Today is day 13 of blogging from A to Z.  I will admit that writing - even silly stuff - every day seems to sharpen my mind!  YOU would not be able to tell it but I feel it . . .yes, I do!

M is for . . .

1. Mannequin

There are two houses (that I know about) in the greater Birmingham area that have mannequins.  There is a house a few miles from our home that has a mannequin -- dressed seasonally -- in their rock garden area.  This is an old picture I took of her several years ago.  I would love to know her story.  They've added a different wig and painted on lipstick and she is slightly frightening now!!  The other mannequin is in a window on Canyon Road.  They change her clothing often, also.  She is behind a window pane so you don't see her as clearly as you see the lady below.

2. Mom

These pictures are both several years old but these are my two lovelies that made me a mom.  30 years ago, our lives were changed drastically as we went from a couple to a family of four in the matter of about 15 minutes.  They have my heart.

This is my mom - she died when I was 15.  I would love to have a grown up conversation with her.

My sisters and I (I'm the baby) - we made our momma a mom!

3. Margaritas

I love a good margarita.  Margaritas are ONE of my favorite drinks.  I had this cute tin sign hanging in my old kitchen!  Sometimes I like my margaritas frozen and sometimes on the rocks.  Sometimes I like a salted rim and sometimes not!  Do you like margaritas? Frozen or on the rocks?

4.  Mirth

Mirth - amusement, especially as expressed in laughter.  This was taken quite a few years ago at a wedding.  These are our friends, Gary and Dona.  I have always loved this picture of the two of them.

5. Mother-in-law

This is the day that I became a mother-in-law.  Some days I think I'm a good mother-in-law and other days I fail miserably.  Just like life!

6.  Mark

Our anniversary is in May . . .33 years - Wow!

  1. That mannequin is kind of creepy. It'd definitely make you stop and look as you passed.

And I love the photos of your family. :-)
