Sunday Stealing with a side of bugs

Thanks so much for the Sunday Stealing questions! Bev is still out of commission and Kwizgiver has been kind enough to take over! Today's questions begin and end with bugs!

1. You are walking down the road and you look down. There is a bug. Do you step on it? Probably not since it is outside . . .but if it were inside our apartment, I probably would.

2. What is one fantasy that you want to come true more than any other? I don’t want to even put this in the same category as fantasy, but in today’s world . . .I wish people would truly love each other, or at least tolerate each other without belittling words, and be kind to each other.

3. Someone knocks on your door. Do you look out the window to see who it is before you open it? Do you open it regardless of who it is? In the apartment, very few people will be coming to visit us. In our house, the whole top half of the door is glass so we can see everyone who approaches plus we have ring doorbell!

4. Have you ever eaten Play-Doh? I’m sure I have because when I read this question I immediately thought to myself, “It is salty”! I’m assuming it would have been over 60 years ago hahahaha!

5. What was your favorite Saturday morning cartoon as a child? I can’t remember if it was shown on Saturday morning, but I loved watching Road Runner with my daddy and I loved Pink Panther.

6. Are you a people watcher? I love watching people. I love going to live sporting events to watch the people.

7. I have a bowl of fruit. There are apples, oranges & pears. You help yourself to one. Which one do you choose? I love all three!

8. What is your biggest pet peeve in the blogging world? I hate when someone posts negative comments. I don’t know if I’ve ever received any but I’ve seen some on other people’s blogs.

9. What was the last really funny movie you watched? I don’t even remember. The last movie I watched was probably Enchanted with a granddaughter and it isn’t a comedy but does have some funny lines.

10. What word do you use far too often? Mine might be a phrase, “I don’t know.” I actually don’t know what word I use too often.

11. How long do you spend in the shower? I love a good HOT shower but I don’t hang around too long – wash and condition hair, wash everything else . . . and out!

12. What is something that you've never done that you secretly are dying to do? This is not a secret but I want to do a zip line and I got a tiny taste of that yesterday. Come back tomorrow for the weekend recap and you can see a photo!

13. Your favorite flavor of soup is….? I love soup. I think I just discovered my word I use too much. I think I use “love” a LOT! I’m not sad about that!! Right now, my favorite soup is Slow Cooker Cream Cheese Crack Chicken Chili by Plain Chicken. This afternoon, I’m making taco soup to take in my lunch this week and I’m going to make the Crack Chicken Chili for Tuesday night young adults.

14. You are sitting on a bench in the park and a bug walks in front of your feet….back to question 1, I will probably let it go about its business.

  1. Your #2 is wonderful ... from your lips to God's ears! In 14 years, I've only had one unsolicited 'sideways' comment on my blog; it hurt so that I just blocked her. The rack chicken chili sounds so yummy; I can't wait to brew a potful myself when our temps cool.

  2. I like to watch people at sporting events also. They are so excited and happy. I love that...I also say love too much. #8...I am not a fan of negativity either. Loved your answers!
    Have a nice day!

  3. Great fantasy. And yes, negative comments can be hurtful. If you can't say anything nice, say nothing at all. That seems to be something a lot of folks can't do.

  4. I use LOVE a lot, too, but like you, I do so unapologetically. Is there ever too much LOVE in the world. I LOVE LOVE LOVE soup. One of my favorite things to eat/slurp ever. Right now I would love some pumpkin or squash soup.
I have trouble killing anything these days. I try hard to scoop up bugs, even flies, and put them outside when I find them in the house.
I also LOVE LOVE LOVE Enchanted. It is so cute. I need to show it to my granddaughters.
