Welcome to Sunday Stealing. Here we will steal all types of questions from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent questions. Cheers to all of us thieves!
These odd little questions were stolen from Singularity, who originally posted them in September 2010. Singularity admits stealing them from another blogger, but that's cool. Here at Sunday Stealing we encourage theft.
Odd Little Meme
1. Do you own a pair of cargo pants?
Many years ago I owned a pair of painter's pants when they were in style. I don't think I've ever owned cargo pants!
2. Which of these gifts from a romantic partner would please you most: a) jewelry, b) wine, c) a book, d) something grown in his/her garden?
Great question! Could a new Apple Watch count as jewelry? If so, I'm in! I do love to read and I do love homegrown produce so I could be happy with one of those, too.

3. Who was the last person to toss a harsh word or phrase your way? Do you think that maybe you had it coming?
I am ashamed to admit that I might be the one tossing harsh words! Mark puts up with a lot.
4. Did you appear in any plays back when you were in school? If yes, what role(s) did you play? Earn extra, non-existent points for sharing any of your dialog.
I was in our school production of Oklahoma. I cannot remember my part. I was also in a church youth choir production and had to sing just this phrase in a slightly intentional off key rendition, "I left my heart in San Francisco." I think I had a speaking part, too, but can't even remember what the play was about!!!
5. Which Osmond do you like better: Donny or Marie?
Back in the day, I loved Donny!! I think I had a poster like this hanging on the wall in my bedroom.
6. Who is your favorite radio host or podcaster?
I like listening to "The Way I Heard It" by Mike Rowe. I've also listened to Revisionist History.
7. Is your personal workspace filled with fluffy, plastic wind-up, rubbery or edible items? Or are you all business and clutter free?
My office is a disaster all of the time. People are always "dropping off" things which end up in my office. I have a couple of shipments of books. I have a couple of cases of water. Plus I have my own stuff!
Thank you for playing! Please come back next week.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to complicated and very uninteresting technical difficulties, there will be no Linky this week. Sorry! Problem will be solved before next Sunday. This week, please leave your link in the comments. Thank you.
What a fun post! Thanks for dropping by to visit my A to Z posts this year.
ReplyDeleteMy wife liked Donny when she was younger because he was cute. But I didn't know her then.
ReplyDeleteInteresting idea and I agree on the Apple Watch (although I already have one but I'm ready to upgrade this fall). LOL!

I have never had an Apple Watch. I tried a Fitbit watch once and it made me feel weird so I never bothered with anything other than a Timex.
ReplyDeleteHi Lisa,
ReplyDeleteNot sure what painter's pants are (something American I guess).
"My office is a disaster all of the time." - You should post a picture so I can show Mrs PM that mine isn't as bad as she thinks it is.
;o)
Cheers

Always a book and once upon a time jewellery or a new plant. Wine isn’t really personal I feel. I was in King Lear when I was at high school.
ReplyDeleteI use harsh words in the car but luckily no one else hears them.
