Welcome to Sunday Stealing. Here we will steal all types of
questions from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we
will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent questions. Cheers
to all of us thieves!
Catherine called her blog Marvel Not a Girl, and while
I don't know for sure, it's believed she came up with these questions herself.
Catherine's Questions
1) What one word describes your personality?
One word is not enough - haha! Seriously!! (Seriously is not the word to describe me!!) My husband would have one answer (if he were home as I write) and my friends would have another answer and my co-workers would have more words. Our kids and my family would probably use different words than everyone else. Let's see . . .grumpy (guess who would say that?), helpful, funny, loving . . . I am clueless -- maybe that is my word!!
2) What's the best way to get on your good side?
Let's see . . .my love language is words of affirmation but helping me do things is always a good thing . . . as long as we do it my way! haha!!
3) What person do you feel most comfortable with?
Mark is at the top of the list, as are our kids, my sister, and my closest friend. There are quite a few others, but I immediately thought of those folks.
Heck, No! I'm horrible at handling criticism. Now do you understand why one word just won't do? I seriously want to handle criticism well - - especially, if it is well-intentioned constructive criticism. I feel like my boss doesn't tell me if I'm not doing something the way he prefers (even after over 10 years of being together) because he knows this about me. That is not good, though.
5) Are you the type to tell someone, if asked, that their pants DO make them look fat?
I was raised a southern woman and we are taught "if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all." I might tell a close family member if they really wanted to know. The problem is . . .how do you know if they REALLY want to know.
Thank you for playing! Please come back next week.
