Sunday Stealing

Welcome to Sunday Stealing. Here we will steal all types of questions from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent questions. Cheers to all of us thieves!

This week we stole from Follow That Dream. Bonnie, who posted it, admits she stole it from Stella. Now here it is, just waiting for you to steal it for your blog ...

Stolen from Follow That Dream

1. My bestie and I once ...I skipped this question and answered all of the others, but now I'm back and the question is still the same. I cannot come up with a response. Let's see . . .this is lame. We are die hard Auburn fans at our house, but one time my bestie and I went to see the girl's gymnastic meet at the University of Alabama because my bestie's sister-in-law was the head coach. My bestie and her husband had season tickets. I tried thinking back to childhood -- I'm sure my various besties and I did all sorts of things.

2. When I'm nervous ...I pick at the skin on the side of my thumbnails - I don't even realize I'm doing it. Sometimes I also talk too much when I'm nervous.

3. My hair ...is blonde . . .but it wasn't originally . . .but it should have been blonde all along - my eyes are green and my eyebrows are light.

4. When I turn to the left, I see ...a cute piece of furniture we bought last week.

5. My favorite aunt ...died of covid complications.

6. I have a hard time understanding ...why other people drive like they do.

7. You know I like you if ...I hug you.

8. When I was 5 years old ...I didn't go to kindergarten because they didn't have kindergarten in my school.

Thank you for playing! Please come back next week.

  1. I'm sorry about your aunt. I had COVID in 2022, but it was relatively mild, I guess, though it delayed my daughter's entry into college by about a week and a half - she and my wife ALSO got it.

  2. #1...it is hard to think that far back for me.
So sorry about your aunt. Loved your answers. Have a great day!

  3. I adore your answer about your hair. My oldest niece has always been blonde, but people don't believe her because her eyebrows are quite dark, and her 'roots' are dark. Her hair just gets lighter as it grows. She's argued with people her entire life--she's 55!!

  4. #3 made me smile. I was a redhead from a bottle for decades. When I stopped dying it, my "friend" Kathy mentioned how dull and drab my brown hair was. Um ... she thought I'd dyed it brown but it was my natural color! Clearly she believed nature intended me to be a redhead.

  5. I'm so sorry about your aunt. Covid was horrible. I had it in 2023 and ugh. Am thankful I had the vaccine and i think that helped keep the severe symptoms away...for me anyways.....

    enjoyed your answers!!

  6. We lost a cousin to Covid. I had trouble with the first question, too.

  7. For an Auburn fan to go into enemy territory is a big deal. The couple of times we had to do things in Auburn (because of kid activities) we made it a point to stay in Opelika.

  8. When you say Auburn, I am guessing you are talking about American Football (which should perhaps be called American Rugby considering it is closer to that sport than football).

    :o)

    Cheers
