1) I'd like to relearn Spanish - I had almost enough hours for a minor . . .a long time ago.
2) I'd like to learn what/how to do a capstone project.
3) Along the lines of #2, I need to learn what I have to do for a practicum.
4) I might like to learn more about nutrition.
5) I need to continue to learn how to be a better wife, friend, mother, employee, etc.

5) I'll do it in just a minute - evidently I've been saying that one since childhood. My mom once said to me that "in just a minute" was my middle name haha!

ReplyDeleteAh, Spanish! I started to take Saturday afternoon lessons but got sidetracked by a cancer scare. Everything turned out to be benign (thank Heaven!) but after surgery I never resumed the classes. That was approx. 15 years ago. I regret that.

I echo your desire to learn to be a better wife, friend, mother etc. It's a process, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteThis was a fun read. I had to look up capstone project but then I remembered having to do one (I think) for my Master's degree. Ha!! I can't remember much about it at all. But that was a very tough time in my life.
ReplyDeleteI am doing DuoLingo for Spanish. When I was still working, I used my broken Spanish quite a bit with my students. But these days I have very little opportunity to speak more than an occasional word here and there. I bet the Spanish would come back to you in a jiffy on DuoLingo.
We are going to Scotland this spring. PC has the travel bug. I am very excited to go as everyone I know who has been was enchanted by Edinburgh.
