D is for Dinner with Friends

Day Four - April A to Z
D is for Dinner with Friends

My April A to Z posts are all about "Things that Make Life Better" and dinner with friends ranks high on my list!!

I am going to begin by saying that I know Mark and I are so very blessed with friends. Our friends have supported us through thick and thin and I'd like to think that we have done the same for many of them. There is no rhyme nor reason nor order for the following photos. I know that "table fellowship" is one of my favorite things and brings great joy to our lives!!

Dinner with our whole Sunday School class at Christmas
There were people all over the Pearson's house. We are
a large class!

We've known some of our friends for many years
and then we've made new friends while traveling. We had so much
fun with these people on our cruise last fall.

These were also new friends on the cruise. This was at
the Chef's Table.

Our Tuesday night young adults are
awesome around the table. We sure
do love them!

We have friends who live in our
neighborhood!

Here I am at another neighbor's home.
I think Mark had covid!

We have had dinner in other countries with friends -
who are our traveling buddies and also our neighbors!

We have dinner with our long-time friends - oh
my goodness - the history we share!!

Sometimes we even have dinner
in a nice restaurant with friends.

Oh I love this photo - Mark was the only man!
We were having dinner with friends while
staying at the David Citadel Hotel in
Jerusalem.

We had dinner with close friends
on New Year's Eve - at the Ironwood
Restaurant at the Valley Hotel.

I truly cannot overstate how much joy these moments bring. There is something sacred about sitting around a table, sharing food, laughter, and life.

Do you have dinner with friends often? We try for at least three times a month—though honestly, I’d take as many as I can get! There’s just something special about the conversations that happen around a table.

Some of life’s very best moments don’t happen on a schedule—they happen around a table!
