We don't keep a specific budget. Over the years I have thought I would like to, but my hubby just sort of keeps it all in his head.

We do tend to be very frugal. We have never owned a new vehicle, and my husband is very handy when the vehicles need repairs. We have over the past few years discovered that car and truck parts can be purchased on Amazon, far more inexpensively than at the local parts store.

We also don't own a boat, four-wheeler, camper, or snowmobile. We tend to keep our appliances for a long time and, again, my hubby is handy at fixing things. Again, Amazon is a good source for appliance parts.

One of my favorite ways to save money is to take advantage of Walmart's Ad Match policy. Every week I check out the flyer of a grocery store that typically has great sales on items we use. We find great buys on things like chicken sausage, cheeses, eggs, coffee, bread, etc. Then we take the flyer when we shop at Walmart and they match the price!Mrs.Thttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00392321745556290343noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8021560750371071992.post-29108627346230309922017-01-18T10:44:43.546-06:002017-01-18T10:44:43.546-06:00Great answers! Those little things add up. Nowadays, as empty nesters, we most often go out for breakfast and we do order coffee then. But the refills are free!Mrs.Thttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00392321745556290343noreply@blogger.com
